We are a friendly group of about 30, who bond over our love of singing together, making good music, and most of all – having a laugh. Our song selection is diverse: we sing many genres such as jazz, pop, oldies, ballads, madrigals and more.

Here is some key information for you:

• We rehearse in Epsom every Monday from 7-9pm (with a small break for a cuppa and a chat) and perform 2-3 concerts per year.
• From time to time we do additional gigs or collab concerts, when it suits the group.
• Music is quickly learnt off book so we can focus rehearsals on accuracy and performance.
• You do not need to be a sight reader, however it helps to be able to follow a music score and have a commitment to learning from home where needed (learning tracks are provided).

1. Come along to your first rehearsal to get a feel for the group, how we work, and the music we sing.
2. Participate in a voice check and chat with our musical director who will determine whether you move to the next stage. If everyone is happy, then you’ll be given the music and Google Drive for new members and instructions for learning the audition song.
3. Once you feel confident (usually after 3 rehearsals), you will sing your part of the audition song alongside a small group in SATB format.
4. We’ll let you know how you got on! Sometimes, feedback is given, and you have an opportunity to improve (you can audition up to 3 times if needed). If successful, you’re given a big celebration and welcomed into the group chat!
